Terms of use
The rules, in plain words.
How the platform may be used, who answers for what, and what we promise.
Who provides the service
Wignet (this site, the shop and the platform app.wignet.app that drives the frames) is run by WigNet, published by Fabien Voyer, independent developer. Any question: contact@wignet.app. These terms cover the use of the platform and its connectors, not the purchase of a frame.
What the service does
The platform publishes the messages and images you or your assistant send, and prepares planned displays and supported alarms. A publication stays available until replaced; a planned display temporarily takes its place during its event window. The frame receives content when it wakes up. You can publish from the frame’s page, through the API, or through a connected AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude or another). The assistant retrieves any external data and publishes each update explicitly. There is no account: the frame’s personal link (app.wignet.app/w/…) is what gives control of it.
Your frame’s link
Whoever holds the link can change what the frame shows. Share it only with people and assistants you trust. If it went further than you wanted, write to us and we will help you take control back.
What you put on your frame
You are responsible for the messages, pictures and image addresses you send, directly or through an assistant: you must have the right to show them, and they must not be unlawful. We do not look at them, except to keep the service running or when the law requires it. Images and their sources are kept while needed by a publication or a planned display (see the privacy policy).
Using an AI assistant
An assistant you connect acts on your behalf: what it does on your frame is treated as done by you. Its provider processes your conversation under its own terms, which we do not control. Check what it proposes before letting it act, in particular before it replaces your messages, alarms or planned events.
Information shown
Information you or your assistant publish, including weather, tides or transit times, can be late, incomplete or wrong. Wignet keeps the published content and does not update external data automatically. Check its source and date; do not rely on it for your safety, at sea or elsewhere.
Fair use
Do not use the platform to reach frames that are not yours, to overload it, or to get around its limits. We may block requests that put the service or other users at risk.
Availability
We keep the service running as well as we can, but it can be interrupted for maintenance, a fault, or a problem at a data source or host. Features can change; when one you use goes away, we say so on this site beforehand where we can.
Liability
Within the limits allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect damage or for the content you or your assistant send. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer.
Changes and applicable law
These terms can change; the date below shows the current version. They are governed by French law. Write to us first if something goes wrong: most things are settled that way.
